Senior Technical Consultant

Our client is looking for a Senior Technical Consultant to join their team on a full-time, remote basis in South Africa.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery and run tenant exports with client IT and security teams

Assess Microsoft tenant configuration against Tenzing's governance frameworks

Design controls across Entra, Purview, Defender, Power Platform, Copilot Studio and Agent 365

Produce technical designs and configuration guides, and support implementation

Present findings to IT and security leadership and review junior technical work

Essential

6 or more years in Microsoft 365 or Microsoft cloud consulting, architecture or senior engineering roles

Deep hands-on experience with Entra, Purview and Copilot

Practical experience with Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot deployments

Scripting with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph for reporting and configuration

Client-facing consulting experience, including running workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Strong technical writing: design documents and configuration guides that others can follow

Desirable

Experience with Agent 365 or other approaches to managing AI agents at scale

Microsoft certifications at associate level or above, such as SC-401 (Information Security Administrator), AB-650 (Administering Microsoft 365 and AI Services) or AB- 620 (AI Agent Builder), with expert-level SC-100 or AB-100 (Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect) a strong plus

Experience in regulated sectors such as legal, financial services or insurance

Exposure to Azure AI Foundry or non-Microsoft AI platforms such as Amazon Bedrock, Claude or ChatGPT Enterprise.
